TEFL courses

The Boston Language Institute offers teaching English as a Foreign Language (also known as TEFL) courses. I would really recommend going here if you live in the eastern Massachusetts area because this is a really wonderful place to go. The teachers are wonderful, you learn a lot, and you come away from the program feeling confident in what you’re supposed to do as a teacher. My friend that worked abroad went here and studied before she left. She got her certification here no problem. I’ve actually looked at a few TEFL books and I wouldn’t recommend studying by yourself unless you’re confident in your abilities or you’re very good at studying on your own. I need direction when I’m doing something like a TEFL certification which is why I would make sure that I would go to a class. If you decide to take an online course sometimes companies try to trick you and they don’t actually teach the TEFL certification that you want. Instead they just take your money.
