Mobile Workforce benefits that I have found
February 2, 2010 on 7:06 am | By admin | In Technology | Comments OffA mobile workforce is a workforce that work from their home office or while traveling. The workforce is also called a telecommuting workforce. The benefits of working as part of a mobile workforce are many. The workforce has a better quality of life and as a result their productivity increases. A mobile workforce that works from home can put in more hours of work because they spend less time in traffic. The telecommuting workforce spends less money on fuel and automobile repairs caused by wear and tear. The employer of the mobile workforce also benefits in many ways. The costs of maintaining an infrastructure and purchasing real estate to place the infrastructure are less. Employers also have the option of choosing employees in a large work pool that is available on a global scale. The mobile workforce works through smartphones and laptop computers connected to a private online platform. Employers pay the workforce based on the productive work accomplished. They do not have to pay by the number of hours logged in by workers present at the office or workplace. Employing a mobile workforce ensures lower absenteeism. Bad weather inability to get to the workplace on time because of bad roads and other work inhibitors that cause absenteeism in a real time office do not affect a telecommuting worker. Employers who employ a mobile workforce on a global scale can take advantage of a workforce that works from a different time zone. Employers can get todays work done yesterday because the workforce in a convenient time zone will work all day in their time zone while their employer sleeps. With increased security methods being introduced employing a mobile workforce for sensitive tasks of a company has become possible. A properly managed and implemented mobile workforce will increase productivity and profits and become the biggest asset of a business in a fast paced e world.
