Why are Carassius auratus auratus so popular?

Commonly referred to as the goldfish, the carassius auratus auratus is one of the most common choices when it comes to choosing an aquarium fish for beginners. Despite the fact that they are common, they are still extremely popular even to serious breeders and collectors. This is because the  Carassius auratus auratus is one of the most pleasing fishes to look at. Their fins might just have a single color but the different hues make it so pleasing to look at. Do not underestimate this fish despite its availability because they can be quite sensitive too when they are not well taken care of by their owners.
