Although getting a cute new puppy seems like it’s a really nice thing to do, it can also be a nightmare if you have never gone through the experience of raising and training a dog from the time it is just a puppy. Chances are for the first six months or so your house or apartment will get absolutely destroyed, so be ready to go through a period of time where you just want to get rid of it. Before you even take home your new dog, make sure that you have the house set up so there is minimal damage done to it. The trash cans should be secured in such a way that doesn’t allow your dog to get in them and drag the trash out.
