44% of London Citizens Victimized by Identity Theft

The latest survey conducted by Infosecurity Europe reports that about 44% of London citizens have fallen victims of identity theft using the bank and credit card fraud. More than 1,000 Sterling Pounds was stolen at an average from each victim and about 37% of the victims didn’t get refunds from the charges incurred in their banks. Upon interview, the victims say that their identities have been stolen through phone scams, intercepted mails and emails, website membership applications, ATM machine receipts, and even from face-to-face transactions with the identity thieves. This means that identity theft cases are on the rise, not only in the US but also in UK. Always avoid identity theft protection rated.
