It’s A Winner
January 26, 2010 on 10:38 am | By admin | In TravelGoing on a planned vacation to a place that you have never seen can be a little scary. You are wondering if the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and if you are even going to have a good time. Even though we did not know anyone that had gone where we were looking, we still booked a reservation at the Costa Rica Airport Hotel. It was a great decision that we made and after a week there we told all of our friends that it was a winner. Everything that you need is right in one place available for you.
On the move
January 24, 2010 on 7:52 am | By admin | In TravelI’m pretty sure that most of the rotorua accommodation houses have noticed the increase in their occupancy rates since the airport started doing international flights direct to Australia. I am based about an hour away and we have certainly noticed a big increase in the tourist numbers. This has been awesome for our town as everyone is feeling the effects, not just the tour operators and hoteliers, but also the retailers and hospitality people. The increase in trade is also attracting more and more people to the area on a permanent basis, so these are all encouraging signs that our little town is on the move.
Growing tourist markets
January 24, 2010 on 5:17 am | By admin | In TravelForeign investment in the Cuban tourism sector has increased steadily since the tourism drive. Cuban immigration officers do not stamp passports so Americans can keep their visits private. Americans usually reach Cuba via flights from Toronto, Montreal or Cancun. Germans have visited Cuba annually. By 1995 the industry had surpassed sugar as Cuba’s chief earner. A new Ministry of Tourism was created in 1994, and the Cuban state invested heavily in western caribbean cruise tourist facilities. Policies were drawn up to satisfy the growing tourist markets of Canada and Europe with an aim to replace Cuba’s reliance on the sugar industry and gain much needed foreign currency rapidly. The crisis precipitated an urgent need to find new avenues of national income.
Luxurious and Exotic
January 22, 2010 on 3:59 pm | By admin | In TravelEven though the reservation said hotel, it was far from it. It was actually our own private little Casita with all of the trimmings. The Arenal Costa Rica Hotel gives a whole new meaning to luxury and exotic. Everything about it was perfection and splendor. There was a pool that you could enjoy either the wet bar or the dry bar and the other guests were wonderful to talk to. Everyone was pleasant and welcoming during the entire stay. The scenery is tropical and after a day relaxing by the pool enjoyed some of the most wonderful food. Could not ask for more.
My Son Is Staying At Mancora Peru Hotels
January 22, 2010 on 4:52 am | By admin | In TravelMy son travels all around the world for his job, and he always tries to call home and tell us about the latest place he is staying. He is really so sweet, because he even sends us lots of pictures because he wants us to feel as if we are really there right around with him. He is currently staying at the Mancora Peru Hotels, and from the pictures that he just emailed to us tonight, I think I fell in love with the place virtually! He snapped a few photos of the beach that is just outside his hotel and it is just gorgeous.
Conversational Spanish Class
January 19, 2010 on 5:00 am | By admin | In TravelMy best friend has been trying to find more information about traveling to Peru. Her conversational Spanish class decided to take a trip there in the spring. She said she was in charge of day one sight seeing. It’s not really a package trip but they want to fill the days up with as many meaningful activities as possible. She has started planning with a review of the history of Peru and this week it’s been all about the geography. I reminded her that she needs to check out the Hoteles En Mancora if she wants to get a good nights sleep while she is there.
Use a New York pass to see sights for cheaper
January 15, 2010 on 6:53 am | By admin | In TravelNew York is the city of lights, tall buildings, and dreams, but it is also the city of overpriced tourist attractions. As if people weren’t strapped enough for cash these days, now these museums have to go charging us two arms and two legs to get in. (Don’t they know we wouldn’t be able to walk in without two legs? haha).
Anyway, the solution to this problem is available right now. You can buy a New York pass to get into these attractions for much less money than they will charge you. And the real question is why would you pay more when you could pay less?
My next trip with my wife
December 25, 2009 on 8:57 am | By admin | In TravelTwo weeks ago my wife found out through her school, the University of California at Irvine, that she was going to be eligible to go to South America to study mushrooms. My worries is in the process of getting a doctorate and this is the focus of her studies. Because of this she asked me if I would like to participate in some sort of South America travel with her. She told me my presence in the field wouldn’t be needed and that I could stay in one of the regional towns/cities while she conducts her work. I thought this would be a good idea because I could do my work over the Internet.
We Will Be Back Next Year
December 23, 2009 on 10:38 am | By admin | In TravelKillarney Hotels don’t come more charming then the International Hotel. We thought the web site was very easy to use and the pictures were quite attractive, but you never know until you see it yourself. Upon arrival we discovered that the many pictures we saw on the website don’t do it justice. Absolutely beautiful Hotel with staff so friendly and kind we felt very pampered. Spending hours in the library during a storm made the weather setback, pass pleasantly. Every night we went down to the pub, Hanngians, and enjoyed great times and they are not kidding about a sing song that can happen with a drop of a hat!
