Want To Communicate With In-Laws

While my husband was born and raised in California, his family is originally from Mexico. They speak almost totally Spanish in their household and I feel totally left out of things. I got to reading a rocket spanish review last night while I was in bed and I felt like it could really benefit me to learn the language. Can you imagine the look on their faces the first time I hear them talking about me? Or the first time I answer something they’ve said in their own language? Oh it’ll be worth the price alone just to see the looks on their faces.

The days were long and hard. The nights were hard to deal too, because it became so cold and the weatherman did not have good news. I decided that it was the best time to go on a holiday. I packed my bags and took my travel money with me. I was excited to land in warmth and sunshine. I was able to get the best value for my dollars here. The exchange rates where phenomenal and I saved a lot of money on this trip. I am so glad that I did this and it was fantastic. There is nothing better than this.

TEFL courses

The Boston Language Institute offers teaching English as a Foreign Language (also known as TEFL) courses. I would really recommend going here if you live in the eastern Massachusetts area because this is a really wonderful place to go. The teachers are wonderful, you learn a lot, and you come away from the program feeling confident in what you’re supposed to do as a teacher. My friend that worked abroad went here and studied before she left. She got her certification here no problem. I’ve actually looked at a few TEFL books and I wouldn’t recommend studying by yourself unless you’re confident in your abilities or you’re very good at studying on your own. I need direction when I’m doing something like a TEFL certification which is why I would make sure that I would go to a class. If you decide to take an online course sometimes companies try to trick you and they don’t actually teach the TEFL certification that you want. Instead they just take your money.

Traveling with Pets

My family and I went on a vacation over the summer, and we had to travel quite a distance. Since we were going to be gone for a couple of weeks, we could not leave our animals at home. Rather than hire someone to take care of them, we decided to just take them with us. We were able to find cheap pet travel supplies on the internet, which was a relief. It enabled us to save more money while we were on our vacation. We all had a really good time. In fact, I think the pets may have had more fun than the humans.

I think I will go out and catch a movie this evening. I have been in Albany for so long it is starting to feel like home. I am glad I have been at one of the extended stay hotels albany has in the down town area. I have all the comforts of home, and I am close enough to work and recreational activities. I am staying here until my company is done with a very important project. It looks as if we will not finish for at least another few months. Albany is a really beautiful place but I am starting to miss my family. I have been gone so long, my mother has started calling me her prodigal son.

I am the person that is always looking for some type of deal.  I am really bothered if I have to pay full price for something and traveling accommodations are no exception for me.  My travel agent recently helped me book a packaged deal fora hotel room and also port elizabeth car rental.  Because I was booking both services, I was able to recieve a decent discount.  The best part about my packaged deal is that my car will be ready for me when I exit off the plane in Port Elizabeth.  I won’t have to wait a long time and can start my trip right away.

A Nice Reward

I finally finished getting my nursing degree and I have decided to treat myself to a tropical vacation.  I was looking online for some tropical island information and was able to choose a destination stop.  I am going with my two best friends and we are going to stay for two glorious weeks.  I am so excited and I have already started packing.  I have worked so hard and I definitely feel like I have earned this trip.  I will be starting my new job at the hospital just a few days after we are to get back.  Life is good.
