Indian Eftpos Terminals

December 30, 2009 on 9:02 am | By | In Business | Comments Off

Recently I came across a range of credit card machines from the sub continent. They were very cheaply priced and seemed to work fine. The problem with eftpos terminals in New Zealand and Australia is that they need to be compliant to a high security standard which these terminals were not. The result would be that you could accept certain credit cards but not all cards. The terminals would also not be able to accept PIN numbers therefore rendering them useless to accept eftpos debit cards which access savings and cheque accounts. It is in your best interests not to cut corners when buying credit card machines as they can be the lifeblood of your business.
